Our tried and tested recipe is made with Hemp Seed Oil to give it a extra Omega boost and will give your hummus a delicious nutty flavour and smooth texture.Serve with your favourite crackers or seasonal vegetables for a simple but impressive antipasto platter.
- 1 x can drained chickpeas
- 1 tbsp water
- 1 medium garlic clove
- Juice of half a lemon
- 2 tbsp tahini
- 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tbsp of Hemp Seed Oil
- Salt and pepper
- Sprinkle of Hemp seeds or drizzle of Hemp Seed oil to garnish (optional)
- Place chickpeas, garlic, lemon, tahini, oils and water in a food processor or blender.
Add salt and pepper or extra oil to taste.
Sprinkle with Hemp seeds or drizzle Hemp Seed oil over the hummus. Serve with your favourite crackers (we love charcoal coloured ones)
