Events - How Cannabis Works
Hemple, the home of functional hemp-based nutrition is sending Co-Founder Cade Turland on a tour around Australia this November and December, on a quest to demystify cannabis.
In the last 12 months, hemp foods have become legalised in Australia, 1000 people have become registered medical cannabis patients and 12% of us have smoked weed. If we followed Canada’s lead and legalised cannabis recreationally, we could open up a $5 billion new market. We’re in the middle of a cannabis revolution, but how does this much-talked-about plant really work in the body?
In Cade’s talk, you’ll get to know your endocannabinoid system, including the role it plays in immunity, pain, anxiety, getting high and more.
What you will learn:
- What the endocannabinoid system is
- How it signals to your immune and central nervous system
- What cannabinoids are, where to find them in plants and how your body makes its own
- How to stimulate and balance your endocannabinoid system for good health
